SPIRIT (SPINAL PARALYSIS AND INJURIES RESEARCH INFORMATION AND TRAINING)

The principal activity is the education and training of medical and para-medical personnel in the treatment of spinal paralysis and spinal injuries. This is achieved through the organisation and the sponsorship of conferences, and particularly through the provision of grants to individual and small groups of professionals to further their knowledge and expertise in spinal cord injury treatment.
