THE ALMSHOUSE CHARITY OF ANN DARWIN

The Almshouse Charity of Ann Darwin is responsible for 4 self contained, single storey, one bedroom "cottages" that occupy a single building in Elston Village. The terms of the charity states that they are for "poor persons of good character who reside in the Parish of Elston and the surrounding area with a preference being given to poor widows." They have recently been completely refurbished.
