ARMTHORPE POORS ESTATE CHARITY

An historic fund set up to assist Residents of Armthorpe.. The income from a small area of land set aside following the inclosure awards in or about 1671 is invested with the Charity Commission and provides a small annual income to provide urgent financial support for Residents of Armthorpe in need, hardship or distress.
