To preserve, protect and advise on the historic fabric of York. To publish promote and educate the public and encourage their participation in cultural activities. To provide advocacy in areas of concern to York. To make grants which concur with the trust's objectives. To raise and pay funds in the furtherance of the objects and co-operate with others having similar objects.
