THE CUBBINGTON CHARITY OF THOMAS SOTHERNE

The charity dates back to a charitable fund set up in the seventeenth centrury through the will of Thomas Sotherne of Stareton to help elderly Cubbington residents by making small gifts to assist with the cost of living. Recipients must have been borne and have lived in the parish of Cubbngton all of their lives.
