To advance education and learning with particular reference to the social, political and literary history of England in the 16th and 17th centuries, and the authorship of the literary works commonly attributed to William Shakespeare, the charity holds conferences and other suitable events and projects, bringing together individual researchers and members of the public to explore these subjects.
