The Charity operates for the encouragement, recognition and promotion of excellence in all aspects of radio broadcasting and audio production in the UK in order to maximise the potential of educational benefits this may bring. The company's subsidiary produces amongst other events the Radio Academy Awards and the Radio Festival both of which are in line with the main objectives of the Charity.
