THE FOLKESTONE AND HYTHE UNIT OF THE SEA CADET CORPS

Youth organisation for 10-18 year olds as fully enrolled uniformed cadets. They are instilled into the nautical traditions - boatwork, sailing, canoeing, sea going experience under sail and power, seamanship, maritime skills (drill and piping), radio communications, electrics, mechanics, cook stewards, band music. First Aid, DofE, computing, shooting, BTEC courses and meteorology. Marine cadet
