Object is to advance the education of the public by promoting the art of Directing in any medium, by providing information on the process of Direction, by bringng Directors together to discuss their work with the public, by providing information on present and past Directors and promoting their work, by celebrating the work of Directors with plaques and awards, by co-operating with similar bodies.
