Grants are given to young people to enable them to aspire to and reach challenging and worthwhile goals or to take advantage of opportunities which will improve their lives and give them a sense of purpose and fulfilment. Grants can also be awarded to individuals, small groups or organisations who provide practical support to benefit needy, sick or disadvantaged youngsters.
