The relief of persons suffering from orthopaedic medical and surgical conditions and the promotion, collection, dissemination of research into and education of the causes and treatment of orthopaedic conditions with a view to sharing (either gratuitously or otherwise) the results of such research with other medical practitioners and other persons who may be interested in such research.
