To advance education for people not in full time employment with the study of a variety of topics, organised, led, and where applicable researched by the members. Provide the opportunity to pursue learning for sheer enjoyment. Provide the facilities for leisure time and recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for older people in the interests of social welfare.
