to recruit members and organise events of cultural and historical interest to support and promote the Parish Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Ware, Hertfordshire, as a building of historical and architectural importance and as a centre for community and cultural activities; and to raise funds to maintain, preserve and repair the fabric and fittings of the church.
