to advance education and to promote facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.Maintain and manage the Chickenley Community Centre whether alone or in co-operation with the local authority or other persons or body in furtherness of these objectives.
