The charity is a grant making trust and which applies its income in accordance with the trust deed dated 20 March 1978 for such charitable purposes within the objects of the coal industry social welfare organisation (Charity No 1015581) in any county, any part of which is for the time being comprised of the South Wales Coalfield.
