To relieve and prevent poverty for the public benefit in the UK and such countries in Africa and South-East Asia as the Trustees deem appropriate by the provision of grants of money, the provision of items including but not exclusively food and clothing, and by payment for services such as essential housing costs, medical aid, and utilities.
