The Trustees are permitted by the Governing Instrument to apply the income of the Charity for the purpose of relieving either generally or individually persons aged 60 years or more resident in the area of benefit (former borough of Glossop as constituted on the 18th May 1947) who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress.
