The charity's objects are:1) To advance the education of the public in its knowledge and understanding of the seas surrounding the United Kingdom.2) To promote the arts, culture, and heritage for the benefit of the public by the establishment and maintenance of Time and Tide Bells as public artworks around the coast of the United Kingdom.
