The U3A movement encourages its members to share their knowledge and talents freely with each other in information learning interest groups. This self-help model empowers members to create their own opportunities to learn in the ways that suit members best. As a result, members contribute to a wide range of engaging and stimulating interest groups in an atmosphere of mutual support.
