The advancement of the Christian faith as revealed in the Holy Scriptures and set forth in the catholic creeds and to which the historic formularies of the Church of England bear witness, primarily but not exclusively within the parish of Southend, St John the Baptist and to carry out such other charitable purposes as shall, in the opinion of Parochial Church Council, encourage church growth.
