To advance Shaivite Hinduism for the public benefit in the UK and worldwide in particular but not exclusively by: (a) providing Hindus and followers of Hindu religion, a Hindu temple consistent with traditional south Indian style. (b) encouraging existing and new devotees of the Shri Kasi Viswanathar (UK) Temple through regular worship at the temple. (c) advancing the faith of Shaivism
