To promote within the catchment area of Coventry District Health Authority, the relief of sickness by carrying out wholly or in part, or funding or assisting in the funding of development schemes, projects and proposals at Coventry hospitals involving the expenditure of capital for which funds are not available or are not immediately available, from any National Health Service Source.
