The Green Hat Foundation provides grants to charities which meet its criteria. These grants are generated from income from invested capital.

The charity holds investments and uses the income to support retired priests

Our aim is to freely distribute Bibles/Christian literature for the honour and glory of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost, in obedience to the great commission (Mark 16. 15, 2 Timothy 2. 2).

The trustees follow a general policy of distributing the trust's income whilst maintaining the substance of the trust's investments to enlarge its grant-giving potential.
