The object of Queenborough Rowing Club is to provide facilities for and to promote active participation in the amateur sport of rowing for the benefit of the inhabitants of the community of Sheppey and surrounding areas.

This was another quiet operating year. Some income was generated for the core purpose of providing access to high quality outdoor education.

The charity actively promotes the sport of canoeing within the community as a health recreational sport.

We are a friendly sailing club for disabled, special needs sailors together with their families and carers.

Provides grants to talented youngsters with a special, dedicated interest in sport, art, music etc.

To provide a building in the centre of the village with all services and disabled access at very reasonable rates, for sports clubs, local parties, gardening club, older people's meetings, toddler groups.

SDSG runs a weekly swim session and other sports/social activities, for persons with a physical, sensory or learning disability and for those recovering from short-term illness or injury.

To manage and promote recreation and sports facilities (including a tennis court) within the parish of Deerhurst, based mainly around Apperley village hall.

We seek to advance the christian faith among young people and families, in schools and groups, and in conjunction with the churches in Bodmin and its surrounding area.
